London, 2 June 2026— Tilt, the live auction app where AI connects real people selling real products in real time, today announces a $26M in fresh funding. Joining the round is Vinted Ventures, the investment arm of Europe's go-to destination for second-hand items, alongside existing investors TQ Ventures, Balderton Capital, Earlybird, Seedcamp, and others. Vinted's backing marks Tilt's first strategic investor from a leader in second-hand. The additional capital brings the total funding raised to over $50M.

This funding comes at an important moment for live commerce. Over the past decades, e-commerce has prioritised speed and efficiency, often reducing opportunities for direct interaction between buyers and sellers. This has created space for new formats that build trust and engagement. Live commerce is already a $370B+ industry in Asia, and there is growing interest in how it can evolve in Western markets.

Tilt enables sellers to go live, with AI helping match buyers to relevant streams in real time, and transactions often beginning through direct interaction. Its 60-person team has developed a range of tools, including “Snap,” which can turn a held-up item into a listing within seconds; a real-time copilot that supports pricing and responses during streams; agentic search that helps users find items across live sessions using natural language; and AI clip-farming to repurpose stream content.

“The next generation won't browse static listings the way their parents did—they'll discover and buy through video, conversation, and live interaction, across every category,” said Abhi Thanendran, CEO and co-founder of Tilt. “What Vinted did for second-hand, Tilt is doing for live. Their backing is the strongest possible signal that this is where the category is going next—and beyond the capital, we'll be drawing on Vinted's operational expertise and learnings as we scale."

Tilt has grown 8x since its Series A in 2024. Buyers spend over an hour a day on the app, 70% return week-on-week, and 70% of monthly GMV comes from repeat buyers. The platform is now live across the UK, Italy, Spain, and Poland, and is the only major live commerce platform still operating at scale in Europe. The capital will be used to accelerate Tilt's AI roadmap, expand the seller base across new markets, and continue scaling the team.

Martijn van Heeswijk, Corporate Development Principal at Vinted, said: “At Vinted, our mission is to make second-hand the first choice worldwide. Through Vinted Ventures, we back founders building the next generation of re-commerce. Tilt is creating a genuinely differentiated experience in live selling, a format we believe has strong potential in fashion and beyond, and we are excited to support them on that journey.”

Tilt’s model creates real businesses. Tilt charges buyers rather than sellers, which is why anyone can start a business on the platform without capital. Sellers include MX Watches, a 22-year-old former McDonald's worker now doing £50k+ a month; and Leon's Luxury, a teenager in Scotland running close to £1M lifetime GMV from his grandmother's spare room.

"I started reselling at school, joined Tilt in November 2024, and grew 20x in a year” said Robbie Cartwright, Yorkshire Trainers on Tilt. “I'm now 20, and am doing over £200k. The volume, the audience, the community—there's nowhere else this works. I want to be one of the biggest resellers in the UK, and Tilt is how I get there."
