2009 Gucci Black Neoprene Bodycon Mini Dress

This body-hugging, black mini-dress was designed by Frida Giannini for Gucci in 2009. Tailored from neoprene fabric, a huge trend towards the end of the 2000s, it is sculpted to cinch and flatter the body’s natural shape. It has a panelled construction which twists across the torso and top of the back to create a cut-out peekaboo effect. Panels of tonal mesh add to the sporty feel. The sleeves are slim and cropped above the elbow. The dress fastens at the back with a hidden tonal zip with logo-engraved zip-pull. Made in Italy, this dress is in excellent vintage condition and looks barely worn aside from some very slight wear to the coated zip-pull. It is made from 52% Polyamide, 30% Polyester, 13% Elastane, 5% Polyurethane, and the mesh is 100% Polyamide. Please refer to the darker black of our studio photos as later shots were taken on a camera phone. Labelled a size XS and so best suited for a UK 6 or US 2.
