This decadent gold python skin jacket was designed by Alexander McQueen whilst he was still head of his eponymous label. For Fall 2002, the house switched to Kering production and used this style of label; we believe this jacket would have been produced between Spring 2003 and Fall 2012. Tailored from glistening, textured snakeskin, it has a classic biker silhouette - wide lapels, chunky metal hardware, zip pockets and snap closures. The wide, open collar is held in place with brass-topped snap closures. The jacket closes with two zips down the front, alongside a small flap with snap closure. It is detailed with two zip pockets that fall diagonally from the chest. The cuffs close with brass-topped snap closures and zips. The back has two zipped vents and two flaps with snap closures. All zip-pulls are engraved with the McQueen logo. The jacket is lined in soft off-white silk for a comfortable, luxurious wear. This jacket is in excellent vintage condition. It is composed of 100% Python Leather with 100% Silk lining. It is labelled a size 42, UK 10 or US 8. The fabric has no stretch - please check our measurements below carefully.
